Episode 35: Acceptance and the Heart

Happy Thursday, other selves! Coming off his own recent experiences working with the heart or green-ray energy center (or chakra), Jeremy joins Ryan to discuss a rare 1991 appearance of Hatonn in the L/L Research meditation circle.

While the heart is a vital center in the energy body — so important that those of Ra call it a “springboard” to blue ray and beyond — it also is where we store all our self-judgments and failures. The heart’s wisdom is discovered in the forgiveness and healing of its contents, bringing the possibility of balance to all centers in the energy body. Gratitude is the key to keeping the heart open at a steady state, and that paves the way for the blue-ray communication that avoids intellectualization in favor of adaptiveness, fearlessness, generosity, and endless hope. Working with these energies over time, we build the habits necessary to fall in love with our whole selves, making possible the creative and nimble possibilities of service that flow from the open heart.

Episode 33: Confederation Philosophy in the Public Eye

Happy Tuesday, other selves! We still need to finish analyzing the session from last episode which began to explore the concept of the magical personality, but Ryan and I wanted to address a Vice article recently published on the Ra contact material, L/L Research, and the r/LawOfOne subreddit.

In discussing our thoughts about and reactions to the article, we attempt to use it as a lens through which to view a variety of concerns about public perceptions of our philosophy and community. When and how is it appropriate for us to share our beliefs on spirituality? How should we talk about the more transient and outlandish claims made in the material? How do we connect with people on an authentic level while also meeting them where they are at? Are there any ways to discuss channeling in general and still come off as sane? What is L/L Research’s role and responsibility in this public-facing part of our community and our lives?

Join us on a very special episode as we dive into these issues, and as always, let us know your thoughts. Also, please consider supporting the Farsi translation project. On the next episode we will return to the Q’uo session from episode 32 to finally tackle the concept of the magical personality.

Episode 31: Criticism

Joseph Dartez steps in as Jeremy’s cohost to tackle the subject of criticism. When is critique a form of service to others? How do we account for our own feelings, ulterior motives, distortions and biases in our communication to others? What kinds of spiritual principles are involved in a human way to register our reflections to others? How is this complicated when third parties are involved? Joseph and Jeremy will take a stroll through all of these topics and more as we wrestle with the positive and negative characteristics of criticism.

Episode 30: How to Serve Others

Happy Tuesday, other selves! Nithin Reddy joins Jeremy on this episode to discuss a variety of concerns surrounding how we serve our fellow humans. Service with respect for the free will of others requires all of our resources: our creativity, our full hearts, and even our imagination. Sometimes it is not our service that is needed at all, or perhaps not the service we planned on offering, both situations calling for great discernment and discipline. Or the service can go awry and teach us something we didn’t expect. We can make ourselves ready to respond best to situations through practicing our connection with our deeper self so that expressing faith, love, and patience become more natural and radiant.

Episode 29: Scientific vs. Spiritual Understanding

Happy one year anniversary of the inaudible podcast, other selves! On this episode, Ryan and Jeremy discuss the differences (and similarities) between the scientific understanding of reality and the spiritual understanding of reality. This takes us into the way scientific progress is marshaled to political and practical ends that reflect our spiritual immaturity. However, if we recognize that all narratives of reality are limited, we can learn how to adopt and discard narratives to suit our higher, spiritual ends. Spiritual discipline allows us to maintain a concept of self that is not fixed to one narrative, making it possible for us to transcend limitations without losing ourselves in the process.

Episode 28: Guidance

Happy Ides of March, other selves! On this episode, Ryan and Jeremy review a 2005 session where Q’uo addresses the idea of our spiritual guidance system, how to establish contact with it, and how to think about it in one’s life. This includes formal practices such as automatic writing as well as more fleeting expressions like synchronicities and dreams. We’ll discuss this more intuitive way to come into a relationship with one’s evolution as well as the similarities of contacting one’s guidance with making contact through channeling.

Episode 27: The Spirit Complex, Part 2

Happy Wednesday, other selves! On this episode, Ryan and Jeremy return to that 1991 Q’uo session on the spirit complex and the soul to finish their read-through and analysis. Jeremy gives a brief synopsis of the ground covered last episode, returning to a passage near the beginning of the session with good advice on how to interpret and think about Confederation information. Then we pick up where we had left off, rounding out Q’uo’s discussion of the spirit complex and its role in the sometimes painful lessons of love and acceptance involved in spiritual evolution. Q’uo then moves on to concept of the soul, which they seem to use to refer to our totality as entities. There’s an interesting part at the end about learning to love without judgment or criticism. As always, let us know how we’re doing!

Episode 26: The Spirit Complex, Part 1

Happy Wednesday, other selves! Ryan returns for another doozy of an episode, as he and Jeremy dive into a Q’uo session dealing with the nature of the spirit. What is the spirit complex in the mind/body/spirit complex model? What makes it complex, and why does that matter? What is the connection between spirit and Confederation concepts like intelligent infinity, investiture, the present moment, desire, and polarization? Prepare for more barely intelligible digressions from Jeremy and more heartwarming stories from Ryan as we ponder the function and nature of that most intangible of metaphysical topics.

Happy Tuesday, other selves! On this episode Jeremy interviews Nithin Reddy, longtime student of the Law of One, on the subject of the role curiosity plays in our seeking. How do we experience this curiosity in consensus reality, and how can a spiritual lens leaven our lives? What is the connection between curiosity and catalysis? We’ll explore these ideas and much more, drawing upon the wisdom of Ra and Q’uo to contextualize our musings. As always, give us your feedback and thanks for your support!
