Episode 50: Instruments on Channeling

On this very special fiftieth episode, we have assembled the High Altitude Receiving Center (HARC) Circle, the current channeling body of the Other Selves Working Group , for a conversation on the nature, purpose, and frontiers of channeling in the tradition of the Confederation of Planets in Service to the One Infinite Creator. Nithin and Jeremy welcome founding Working Group member and senior HARC Circle channel Dr. Stephen Tyman to discuss channeling and the recent Fourth Channeling Intensive they participated in.

In this wide ranging discussion, the three instruments discuss the concepts of channeling and tuning consciousness from the ground up. Steve details the concerns that go into the preparation and dedication of the self to serve as an instrument in a safe, protected, and spiritually salutary manner, not denying the pitfalls and increased catalyst. They talk about some of the practices and approaches they use in their circle, including how they think about the instrument’s responsibility and role in the messaging. The recently released eleven sessions recorded in June at the intensive are also addressed along with the finer points of these channeling experiences and where the Working Group may go from here.

Episode 38: Pride and Confidence

After another two month break, Ryan and Jeremy are back at another episode of (inaudible), catching up on what happened over the break including the Other Selves Working Group’s third channeling intensive. The 2011 Q’uo session they analyze discusses the nature of self-confidence and contrasts it with pride. Faith seems to be the key to freely expressing the Creator’s love and light without needlessly judging the self by other’s standards. We are encouraged to tap into the deep hunger and thirst within us to grow and learn, placing our confidence in the Creator and the goodness of the path back to unity.

Episode 33: Confederation Philosophy in the Public Eye

Happy Tuesday, other selves! We still need to finish analyzing the session from last episode which began to explore the concept of the magical personality, but Ryan and I wanted to address a Vice article recently published on the Ra contact material, L/L Research, and the r/LawOfOne subreddit.

In discussing our thoughts about and reactions to the article, we attempt to use it as a lens through which to view a variety of concerns about public perceptions of our philosophy and community. When and how is it appropriate for us to share our beliefs on spirituality? How should we talk about the more transient and outlandish claims made in the material? How do we connect with people on an authentic level while also meeting them where they are at? Are there any ways to discuss channeling in general and still come off as sane? What is L/L Research’s role and responsibility in this public-facing part of our community and our lives?

Join us on a very special episode as we dive into these issues, and as always, let us know your thoughts. Also, please consider supporting the Farsi translation project. On the next episode we will return to the Q’uo session from episode 32 to finally tackle the concept of the magical personality.

Episode 31: Criticism

Joseph Dartez steps in as Jeremy’s cohost to tackle the subject of criticism. When is critique a form of service to others? How do we account for our own feelings, ulterior motives, distortions and biases in our communication to others? What kinds of spiritual principles are involved in a human way to register our reflections to others? How is this complicated when third parties are involved? Joseph and Jeremy will take a stroll through all of these topics and more as we wrestle with the positive and negative characteristics of criticism.
